We have been hunting for a building mounted turbine for some time now. The Swift has been on our list since we first saw it at the NESEA building conference two years ago. Finally they are expanding their dealer network into the NorthEast. Seacoast Energy Alternatives is the first dealer north of New Jersey so we cover all of New England. The Swift is a very nice compromise. Obviously a turbine mounted on a 60 foot pole will outperform a building mounted turbine. However many people have reasonable wind sites but can't put up even a 30 foot pole. They also may not be able to address the noise issues with close by neighbors. The Swift can be as much as 40% less to install and will not make anymore the 35db of noise. Meaning your next door neighbor won't be able to hear a thing.
